I've been driving a Ford Transit for a year now, and my experience has been overall positive. It offers ample space, which is especially handy for carrying both passengers and cargo with relative ease. The performance of the engine is reliable during long trips, though I did notice some rattling noises around higher speeds, which I suspect might be due to aging suspension components. Regardless, the fuel efficiency remains consistent, making it a practical choice.

Last month, I drove the Ford Transit for long-haul deliveries. The van’s cabin ergonomics were excellent, making it a pleasant drive even for extended periods. The handling impressed me, particularly on twisty roads where the response was predictable. Yet, I found the lack of rear camera as a standard feature slightly inconvenient.

I had the chance to use the Ford Transit for a medium delivery task, which lasted a week. The storage space was more than ample, accommodating all my goods efficiently. The driving comfort stood out; it felt like I was in a compact SUV rather than a large van. However, the fuel efficiency, while reasonable, wasn’t exceptional for its class in my opinion.

I have worked with Ford, and in my driving experience, it has been the worst. There have been constant issues with the clutch, suspension, and overall there is a consistent rattling and creaking. And this is on a brand new car from the dealership! The warranty service department was already familiar with me, and if not me, then definitely my Ford.

Ran a long-wheelbase Double-Cab Transit Custom for work and moving jobs. The load space is properly useful: it took boxes, suitcases, furniture and even bikes without much drama. Low loading lip and lashing points help. The six-seat layout is handy too, although the rear load bay needs tie-downs for smaller kit or it slides around everywhere. For a van at this price, the cabin equipment and near-40mpg on longer runs make the costs look reasonable.

Been running the 2.0 diesel post-2002. Had two of these already, swapped motors once-finding parts is a nightmare sometimes, weird catalog numbers and all. Motor itself is okay if you stay on top of it. But the Delphi injection system? If you get unlucky, it just starts eating itself and then you’re in for repairs and a whole game of hunting used injectors. Cheap parts aren't always available, so you gotta improvise or pay extra for original stuff. The cabin isn’t terrible, but expect vibrations as miles rack up. Can get annoying but doesn’t stop you working. On the upside, runs decently and hauls load, just don’t trust those early warning sounds. Had better experiences with the older engine, but nothing’s perfect. If you wrench yourself, you can keep it going on less money.

Having used the Ford Transit for logistics tasks, I'm fairly aware of its practicality. The adjustable driver's seat is a bonus during long-haul trips, and the dashboard layout has improved noticeably over older models. The absence of an automatic transmission might disappoint some, but the manual gears provide control in diverse conditions. The safety features like Electronic Stability Control stood out, especially in unsteady weather. While not exceptional in load capacity compared to competitors, its balance of handling and space works for most requirements.

I've extensively driven a few generations of the Ford Transit, and here's my take on it. Among its strengths is its robust engine, but maintenance can sometimes be less straightforward due to part compatibility issues. The clutch system, while effective, does show wear sooner than expected in some cases. The seating is practical but could use improvements for enhanced comfort. Ultimately, it gets the job done but has room for refinement.

Automatic, powerful engine, and low price make it almost the only choice in its class. There are downsides in every car, but it is the best car where there are more advantages than disadvantages.

Been driving the L4H3 Transit for the last year mostly for site jobs around the city, and it's just massive inside. I haul a lot of gear and honestly, the loading bay swallows everything. I do like all the cabin storage too--there's a cupholder for every coffee I buy (which is a lot). The under-seat stowage is pretty handy, but some of the little compartments are hard to reach when you're in a hurry. Never struggled for room, that's for sure. Vision out the front is top notch with that giant windscreen and the split mirrors. Drives easier than you'd think for such a big van, but yeah, there's a bit of wobble if it's windy or you take a bend too quick. Haven't had anything major go wrong so reliability seems solid so far. Servicing is the usual Ford cost, nothing dramatic. Only thing I don't love is the turning circle, it's not tight, parking takes practice. But you get used to it. Wouldn't swap it for anything else right now.
