Нефтяной отстойник ОГ — цельносварная конструкция цилиндрической формы, устанавливаемая горизонтально на седловые опоры. Боковые стенки цилиндра имеют эллипсоидную форму. Для ввода/вывода рабочих сред и подключения дополнительного оборудования устройство оснащено штуцерами.
В России производство нефтяных горизонтальных отстойников, поступающих в свободную продажу, осуществляется с учетом особенностей рабочих сред, что гарантирует возможность доукомплектации агрегата вспомогательными элементами. Вместе с тем базисная часть оборудования неизменно включает:
вводный штуцер;
два коллектора с перфорацией;
дырчатые распределители;
уровнемер фаз;
выпускной штуцер;
переливной клапан.
При изготовлении внутренних комплектующих применяют нержавеющую сталь. Кроме того, для предотвращения разрушительных процессов, возникающих вследствие воздействия агрессивных факторов внешней среды, внутренние поверхности покрывают антикоррозийными составами.
Условия применения

При изготовлении отстойников ОГ на заказ завод-производитель осуществляет расчет параметров с учетом эксплуатационных особенностей. Оборудование можно использовать как в умеренном, так и в суровом климате. Исходя из климатических условий и особенностей производства, для изготовления отстойников ОГ подбирают тип стали.
Отстойники нефти отличаются повышенной прочностью, их можно применять в зонах повышенной сейсмической активности до 8 баллов. При этом бесперебойный срок службы до капитального ремонта составляет около 70 тысяч часов. Общий срок эксплуатации может достигать 30 лет.
